A sub-range of the Karakoram mountains, Haramosh stands tall at the height of 7409m. It can easily be seen from Gilgit and is covered with snow throughout the year. Haramosh has its own share of beauty, especially the picturesque Kutwal Lake. However, this trek is for one of the more experienced and physically fit. The trek starts from Sassi, a lush green village, famous also for its precious stones. Trek to Kutwal Lake, will be demanding, but worth the exertion. Kutwal Lake is sight worth capturing; its natural beauty, combined with greenery surrounding it is indeed one of the most beautiful sights in Pakistan.
Day 1 – Trek from Sassi to Iskere
Day 2 – Trek from Iskere to Kutwal Lake
Day 3 – Trek back from Kutwal Lake to Iskere
Day 4 – Trek back from Iskere to Sassi & depart for Karimabad
